Dr. Jo’s journey in dentistry began at Columbia University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Her dedication to comprehensive care led her to complete a General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital in New York. During this time, she gained valuable experience in both general and pediatric dentistry, giving her a well-rounded perspective on patient needs at every stage of life.
Advanced Orthodontic Training
Pursuing her passion for orthodontics, Dr. Jo went on to specialize in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Temple University. There, she not only refined her skills but also earned a Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences. Her training included advanced techniques in traditional braces, clear aligners, orthopedic and functional appliances, and surgical orthodontics.
