Shruti Patel, DDS – General & Pediatric Dentist

As a child, Dr. Shruti Patel could spend hours with a box of crayons and paper. After shadowing her uncle, she realized that dentistry was the perfect way to combine her passions for art, science, and helping others. Today, she has traded crayons for a mirror and explorer, using her creativity and compassion to help children create healthy smiles.

Dr. Shruti earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a Minor in Nutrition from Rutgers University, followed by a Master’s degree in Biological Science with a concentration in Oral Biology from Rutgers School of Graduate Studies. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University, where she discovered her passion for preventative care and her love for the creativity involved in working with children. This led her to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at Stony Brook University, where she gained extensive experience providing comprehensive care to children of all ages.

She is dedicated to making every visit a positive and comfortable experience, helping children develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shruti enjoys baking, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.
